The Role
Great place to work, people who are genuinely interested in your development
I was given a relevant project to work on. It definitely made my experience more worth it.
A lot, I'm in second year with limited knowledge of course. I wasn't spoon-fed but I got all the guidance I needed to unlock my potential.
Each day was different, but I always had something tangible to do.
Enough
A whole lot. My programming skills have improved and I'm confident I can pick up even more skills.
The Company
Welcoming, busy, fast-paced
Very organized. We had trainings every week and networking events so that we could meet people across other divisions at the bank
I believe I got a lot more than I hoped for- A fast paced environment with very smart people who are willing to help you grow, trainings, personal and group sessions with HR to track progress etc. I'm not the same person I was when I started.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
It's definitely something to want. The possibilities are endless, literally.
The Culture
Yes. Most the interns got along well, went out for drinks, etc. I've definitely made some real connections with the people I interned with.
Nightlife in London is amazing as always- there's so much to choose from.
Yes, there were. We had community day and helped clean up a canal. Team activities like City Dash were also possible.
