The Role
The work was varied and enjoyable, covering across all lines of business
Thrown straight into the work and treated as a member of the team from the get go. Worked in a group of 4 covering 2 LOBs and felt valued and able to help out
Manager was very approachable, more than happy to have informal chats whenever required and happy to help out with any work/queries
Typical work pattern = 8:30-5:30/6:00. Work varied as it was reactive but sometimes had to eat lunch at my desk, other days I would be able to go out and about for lunch or to the gym
Given responsibility from the start and asked to carry out certain meetings that a full time graduate would do.
Networking skills improved, ability to judge situations and how to phrase responses to get a better reaction
The Company
Everyone was happy to have a chat and a good joke every now an then. Not many occasions to meet with the team outside of work e.g. drinks after work.
