The Role
The projects that I have been involved in and heard of during my placement continues to amaze me till the end of my placement
Senior colleagues show that they trust me to take various responsibilites during the placement
Everyone was really helpful!
I was kept very busy during the first 3 months of my placement, then things died down a little after my main project finished
To me, all the tasks that they gave me are big responsibilities as they are essential to the project,
I was really able to train my critical thinking here, and this skill is very important when working for any job. To be able to process information as soon as you get them is definitely essential to quickly finish your tasks.
The Company
Everyone seem very well organised and calm, no stress detected!
No problem in the organisation of my placement
I was allowed to go for various trainings and talks. They are not afraid to invest on their people, and I was treated as one of their own.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare/Dental
Travel loan
Very appealing! Would be amazing for anyone to be able to work with Arup. Its such a well established company.
The Culture
Yes everyone was friendly
There's lots of restaurants around, but Central London is never cheap!
I don't really get myself involved with Nightlife
They have a lot of socials outside of work
