The Role
Absolutely outstanding. The organisers were able to pack everything anyone may want from an internship into a mere 3 days!
Not only did EY provide us with some stunning prizes for our hard work at the end of the internship, but throughout the programme interns got on really well with each other and with the organisers. There was not a single person isolated from any activities and the nature of exercises made sure that everyone was fully appreciated at every opportunity.
As this was a leadership academy, we were mostly independent, but this acted as a way of simulating real life and making us feel fully in charge of our problem solving, however help was always available if asked for it.
We had a mere 30 mins (if that) to ourselves, with over 5 hours of networking and 9 hours of work each day. Absolutely fantastic!
We were all fully responsible for organising our solutions to problems and scenarios. Feedback was really useful in developing and being able to manage different groups of peers.
Not only did we come up with a clear vision of our future selves, but we received a clear understanding of how leadership theory can be implemented in real life, using the three days to find our real style of working in teams, and being able to implement it in practice. It is something I will never forget and hope to always use at every opportunity and hurdle.
The Company
Full of energy and relentless activity flow.
We knew what we were meant to be doing at every minute of the day, throughout.
The company invested extremely large amouts of expertise and really improved me as a person, by bringing out the best in me. What is even more suprising, the firm did not try to pitch itself or attract us to work for them full time, the programme was FOR US and not for them. It was absolutely amazing.

Although the organisation did not try to push us into employment within their organisation the investment provided does show that it is a sincerely great organisation to work for, hence making future employment prospects very appealing.
The Culture
With at least 5 hours of networking every day and endless team building exercises, we knew everything about each other by the end of the programme.
All expenses were paid for.
The organises provided us with everything necessary to have fun and socialise, from Karaoke to Drum lessons.
The programme was filled with opportunities to ask questions and a lot of practical exercises. It was more of a skill and relationship building programme rather than work.
