The Role
very interesting but tiring
everyone is very willing to help and invest time in you
management are very supportive, HR are very helpful also
working hours are long but you're busy enough that it goes by quickly
not huge amounts of responsibility but you're given various tasks which are actually useful to the team in some instances
useful in a general understanding of markets, and various aspects of my course
The Company
very friendly, everyone works hard but it's not too serious
lots of events and speakers coming in all the time, in my section we had a very good schedule but others areas I know had a less rigid schedule
people invest huge amounts of time and money into you
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
they invest a lot of time in you with the idealisation of hiring you at the end of the internship if you're good enough
The Culture
lots of intern socials and a very fun group of people and good desk vibes in general
cost of living is very high in london but lots to do!
lots of bars around canary wharf which are all packed on a friday!
as an intern and within markets, clubs i wanted to join took part in the day and therefore I couldn't join in
