The Role
Although the internship was very challenging, I enjoyed the work environment and the projects I was given.
Everyone was always willing to help if they were free and the work I was given would be useful the team so I felt valued.
On both my rotations, the line managers were very involved with the interns and I had a good mentor who would meet up with me weekly to discuss how I was getting along
As I was given my projects early on, I was quite busy throughout the day as I would shadow people as well as collect information for my project.
The work I was given would be useful to the team so I felt like I was given quite a bit of responsibility.
This internship has taught me how to network well, work efficiently and gave me a good understanding of how the business works.
The Company
The internship was very well organised as we had many opportunities to shadow other desks as well as meet people across the bank at regular events.
The Culture
The intern group this year was quite social and everyone got along.
London is an expensive city.
