The Role
The team has given me plenty of responsibility to ensure I can get stuck into some real work. Not only this but various people across the team have given me jobs so I have seen I wide area of business/
Very much so. However, i have occasionally been restricted by the technology as I havent ever had full access to all information. Another point is that occasionally I have felt used and haven't recieved much credit/feedback.
There has always been somebody to help. The first week was the most difficult however as I couldn't get stuck into much work so felt a bit lost.
About right. Some days I would be overly busy, some I wouldn't have much to do, it was trying to find a balance.
A good amount.
My excel skills have come beyond what i could've imagined. Also the knowledge of the industry has hugely developed.
The Company
Dependant on the work load mainly.
Could've been better at the start, however overall it was good.
The scholarship scheme means the company are quite invested. The company throughout the intership also provided various training sessions to develope skills.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Fairly good, but will be more relevant on the next internship.
The Culture
Lots of drinks and nights out within interns.
Edinburgh is an expensive city.
I go to uni here so may be a little bias, but its great fun
Played cricket and football through the company.
