The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, on a scale of 1-10 i would say 9. The staff i worked with were very friendly and the support system within the company was amazing.
I was really valued by my colleagues because i made significant contributions to all the projects i worked on. I was an important member of the project team and had big responsibilities that if not completed could derail project targets. On a scale of 1-10 did i feel valued by my colleagues, i would say 8.
I was properly supported and guided by my supervisor. I was sent on some training courses, i had a full week of introduction to the project.
I was always busy, we always had deadlines coming up. there was no dull moment.
I would say the level of my responsiblity grew as i spent more time on the project. As at the point i left i would say the level of my responsibility was 8/10.
The soft skills and technical skills i learnt over the period of my placement would serve as a building block to rest of my career.
The Company
it was amazing. The opportunities within the company meant i had a great balance between life and work. The staff was friendly, we had loads of social activities.
It was very well organised and set up.
i was sent out on training courses, went for cpd's. we had regular in-house training as well.
I think my employment prospects are high. I spent a year there and i believe if i apply for a graduate scheme i stand a good chance of getting a graduate job.
The Culture
yeah within the company there was a social committee which i was part of. We organised at least 2 events every month. Apart from that we had sports teams, i played basketball, football and netball
quite a bit 7000-8000 a year on housing 5000 on socialising
the night life was great right at the heart of london
yeah there was. The sport teams
