The Role
really challenging, great opportunities
worked in a really supportive team, my manager and team were really helpful and approachable
a lot - they encourage you to be proactive, but yet are still there for support and guidance when you need.
we were told on the first day that this internship is what you make it - so if i found myself not busy, i'd go and ask for more work from the rest of the team.
initially they trained me up on their BAU tasks, but as i continuted to prove myself, they gave me more responsibility until i was revenutally running a whole trading process.
i've learnt a lot of technical things, that I will be able to apply them to my course
The Company
Very good moments with very funny people, but again it varies with the people who you have to work with, and different personalities.
Well organised in terms of how well the job was defined, but some problems in organising joint intern events
we had a few days of induction, and then on the job training. there isn't a huge amount on the internship, they tend to invest more in your training once you're on the graduate programme.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
really appealling - the grad programme is rotational for my area and gives a great opportunity to experience different types of roles that i could end up doing in my career
The Culture
yes definitely - the grad team arranged lots of events, and we often went out every Friday as well.
Pretty expensive - but then living alone
often went out every Friday pretty expensive
yes, both formally arranged as part of the programme and also with my team and with the other interns.
