The Role
Informative and enjoyable, although due to some uncontrollable factors the focus of the placement did have to change. Managers always had proper tasks for me to be completing, so I never felt useless within the lab.
Good feedback and constant work stream made me feel valued and a part of the company.
Generally very good, slightly chaotic at times due purely to the amount of growth within the department.
Generally kept happy with a good amount of engaging work.
Felt like a good amount of responsibility for myself to test if I feel ready to move on into the real world of engineering.
Hard to say about specific technical skills, as they are limited to specific equipment, but general time management and conflict resolution skills will be useful on all walks of life.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere, could be tense with certain construction issues that arose, but always an environment I was happy to be in.
Even with the end goal having to be changed I did not feel like I wasn't meant to be at the placement.
All relevant training and more were provided to ensure successful completion of tasks.

Would love to work with Jaguar Land Rover in the future.
The Culture
Large number of interns that were happy to organise events together. We were all connected via a Facebook group set up by the company to get the ball rolling.
Midlands is a decently priced area to live and work.
Coventry and Leamington provide decent night life.
Jaguar Land Rover provides opportunities to learn new skills, and have good links with the surrounding area, so it's easy to get involved.
