The Role
A huge amount - I learnt loads and had a great time at the same time as well as meeting a lot of lovely people.
Very much
A lot; we had individual and group meetings to talk through our progress and discuss any ideas we might have, and our line manager was always around to help us.
I was quite busy but there isn't a culture of working really long hours/eating at your desk - the important of breaks is emphasized.
We were given a project to work on but were encouraged to have our own ideas about the directions to take, as well as having a lot of say in the hours we spent in the office and worked.
A huge amount - I had the chance to put lots of the theory I have studied in the last two years into practice and feel like I have a much more solid grounding in the practical aspects of computer science now.
The Company
Very friendly and open-plan
Very well organized - there were well-thought out training exercises to get us started on the programming as well as lots of morale events.
Quite a lot; we could have used frameworks which would have made the project run faster and more smoothly, but instead we implemented a lot from scratch so we could learn at a deeper level.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Extremely
The Culture
Reasonably - we all went to quite a few morale events
Reasonable for London (we didn't have to pay for much ourselves though)
No idea
Yes, very many.
