The Role
One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. In which I had the opportunity to work with world class experts in my area of expertise.
From the beginning of the placement I was treated as a member of the family and everyone was helpful whenever I was in need of something. The people at IMG are unique in a way that makes this whole company special. I had a lot of fun during this placement, i.e going out with the other interns but also with the colleagues around me. Overall, great experience and had lot of fun.
Being part of IMG was a great feeling, as most of the colleagues were friendly and offered help at any point if they weren't busy. The help was not enough to get me a straight solution to a problem but was good enough to make me figure it out by myself afterwards.
I was handling all sort of tasks and if i'd finish them, the manger came up with something new on the point. Most of the projects required a lot of hours to be put into them and I gladly did.
The tasks were varied in the field and in difficulty which made it a lot more interesting than I was expecting. The feeling that something you worked onto will be a future product is indescribable.
Working on different project improved my current knowledge on the subjects they were focused onto but also the fact that most of the work was completely new to me, was a challenge and I ended up learning a lot of useful things that I will be using in the future.
The Company
The atmosphere was relaxing and calm, perfect for working long hours on projects. The fact that the colleagues were amazing, made it even easier for me to fit straight into this culture and have fun while working in the same time.
Everything was well organised when I came in, the projects that I had to work on were mostly known and I was straight up given and an introduction and started working on them which was great.
Most importantly time of the other employees as they were trying to help me out on different tasks. Above all I appreciate when someone gives time out of their busy schedule to teach me how to use different tools or to work out different problems we encountered.

After this amazing experience. I'm ready to apply for a second internship with them and after I finish my degree, I'd gladly start my career from them and work my way up in developing my skills and capabilities.
The Culture
The colleagues were amazing as they offered different social activities which I gladly attended i.e going out at pubs, night clubs or restaurants. Also there were different meetings within the group of placement students which was well organised. Within this group, one of the students organised pub visits and some other social activities which gave me the chance to socialise with the other placement students and have fun in the same time
As I was living in a different town, nearby to the working place, the commute wasn't that big and either that expensive as it was just one train station. The rent wasn't that expensive either and the night life was cheap. Overall it was a great experience while being cheap as well.
The nightlife was diverse, from clubs, pubs to restaurants. As they were really cheap, going out was a weekly activity which I enjoyed a lot.
There were opportunities such as playing basketball or practising all sort of sports which was something I was really looking for. I was glad that I didn't have to pay a lot to get into these sort of activities.
