The Role
As an intern, I got the chance to enjoy all parts of my internship. There were numerous events, networking opportunities, and possibilities for training. My team allowed me to take up and to complete interesting technical tasks, as well as to work with real clients. This allowed me to feel like a full-time member of the team.
All colleagues were helpful and ready to help when I needed advice. They were also extremely grateful for the completion of my project.
Whenever I needed help, I received it within a matter of seconds. This is also because my supervisors were aware that I always research the solution before asking. Generally, everyone I interacted with was helpful and friendly.
I always had a wide variety of tasks to work on, next to my main project. I definitely never felt bored. Sometimes I had to stay long because of the number of tasks - since I was not always able to complete them during the day.
I had the same responsibility as a full-time employee. I had access to the same resources, which means that my actions required a lot of responsibility.
My role involved learning financial skills, and working with clients and a team. I also took up technical skills which I did not have before.
The Company
Everyone was helpful, and friendly. It was a relaxed atmosphere.
The organizers did a really good job making this internship a great experience for the attendees. The internship involved lots of events, and opportunities to improve, and to get to know the company.
I had access to a variety of compulsory and optional trainings.
Flexi Time
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare/Dental
There are many factors that are appealing: flexibility within the firm, benefits, and friendly people.
The Culture
Interns get to attend numerous events with lots of food and networking possibilities. Interns also got to attend a sporting-, and a charity-event in particular parks of London.
The cost of living is very high. It's cheaper to live far from the office, however that makes commuting painful. Eating out is also way too expensive. The only positive thing is the variety of places (pubs, restaurants). It's fun to take pictures of them - that's it.
It was always full of life. Lots of pubs and restaurants.
Societies, events, trainings.
