The Role
Quite enjoyable. I was put into a role that I felt fit my experience and challenged me to learn.
Colleagues willingly took the time to explain new concepts, which was very kind of them.
Manager was very supportive and frequently answered my questions or offered advice on the next step I should take when encountering a problem. Was also very friendly and made me feel welcome in the team.
Quite busy. I usually have set goals for the day and I try to finish them, regardless of what time I leave the office because of that.
More than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The project I was working on would directly impact the company in some way down the line. It felt nice seeing parts of my work being put into use.
The ability to analyse data methodologically was something I picked up at University, and refined everyday during the internship. Overall I'd say it'll be quite useful, including skills like communication and just all around socialising with others.
The Company
Not relaxed but not too uptight either.
Like I mentioned before, colleagues and manager took the time to teach me and I felt that this was a very useful experience. I definitely learnt a lot.
Sports and Social Club
Definitely would come back if offered the chance.
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to talk to fellow interns. The few social events organised was also a good chance to socialise with interns that I would normally not see.
Fairly expensive. Lunch was a good £8 everyday.
Didn't go.
