The Role
It was great
I felt like one of the team almost immediately
My colleagues were there to answer any of my questions whenever I needed, and would book time each week to go over things I was struggling with
I was very busy in the morning and then had more free time in the afternoon, which allowed me to shadow other people at the company
I was surprised by the amount of responsibility I was given. Taking ownership of many BAU
I have learnt so many skills which will help in life. Especially my computer and communication skills
The Company
It was friendly, maybe a little too quiet sometimes
My team had organized a good about of work for me, and which tasks I should take over. The internship all gave us events such as speaker series which mixed things up
I felt the company has invested a lot of time into me. I have had a fantastic opportunity to learn first hand from very experienced individuals who give up lots of valuable time. We have had many costly and though out events for us through out the internship

The Culture
Yes the other interns were great and we regularly met up after work and at weekends. There are 400 interns and 40 finance interns, so a big group of us in the same positon
London is very expensive, but this did not put us off
very expensive! We tended to just go to pubs or each others houses, which is more fun anyway
Not really, there was a couple of social events with the team
