The Role
There's not much negative to be said about the internship. Impressed by how well everything was organized and how much interns are valued at the firm.
To a great extent, an inclusive and supportive working environment.
Manager was very supportive and helpful, always happy to respond to questions and give advice.
Pretty much perfect workload, had the chance to ask for more work once only. Last week was a bit more quiet.
A suitable amount for my skillset and experience, I'd say.
Developed excel skills and an understanding of numerous financial assets and how they work, definitely useful in the future.
The Company
Couldn't be much improved, a good mix of serious and hard working as well as friendly and fun.
Impressed how smoothly everything has gone during the summer. Everything as been very well organized.
To a high extent, with social events for interns, notebooks, networking sessions, gym bags and more...
Sports and Social Club
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare/Dental
Will definitely return if given the opportunity to.
The Culture
Through social events and discussions at the office, fellow interns were part of the daily life at the firm. Always nice to meet like-minded people.
London is expensive, rents are high and so are prices for lunch/going out etc... However compensation covers this quite well.
As this was a summer internship, relatively quiet unless you knew where to go.
