The Role
A valuable and inciting experience as a whole - one of the best I've had.
We were always relied on and trusted to handle situations - whether it was work or opinions.
Always available for any questions, training or help.
There was a balance, although there was always work to get on with, we had an ample break and lunch period.
The Company
Everyone worked hard, but was very friendly and welcoming.
My buddy set me up for work/client-trips throughout the internship and there was a schedule to keep us on target.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Received a graduate offer
The Culture
We were always invited out to events and after-work drinks with more senior colleagues, and there were plenty of ice-breaker/social events organised with the other interns.
Cost of living - rented a flat for my studies at University in London, so it was very convenient to be situated at the Finsbury Square office in the city. However, London is extremely expensive in all aspects, i.e. food, rent, etc.
Our office was situated at Moorgate/the financial district. There were bars but not really a 'nightlife' per-say.
Tremendous amount of opportunities. The HR department had organised jam-packed events schedule for socialising and interacting with other interns across the country - also with the national training centre at Bradenham.
