The Role
8. The internship was a great experience. As an Ghanaian, with this being my first time in the UK, I experienced a great cultural barrier trying to understand the environment and the people. After successfully discovering this during the internship, it was just a great learning time in London. I really appreciate this opportunity.
6. I felt valued by both senior and junior members on the team. As your opinions and knowledge are sought out for. I think it took too much intern effort to reach out to people. I think the team members should also make an effort to reach out to interns sometimes.
8. To a large extent, both managers on my two rotations were very helpful and guided me throughout the internship.
9. I was busy with my projects on the desks and I also asked for more work to get involved in the teams' activities. I felt like I was only less busy during the last week of the internship.
5. My projects and activities on the desks I rotated on were basically to test my understanding of the operations of the desk. I did not feel as if they were going to have a direct impact on the activities on the desk.
10. Skills for life. I have basically learnt how to learn in a fast paced environment here in this bank. Since I believe in learning to improve, I appreciated that. Also, since the projects I was given were not necessarily live, I feel that I haven't sharpened my skills to the maximum. Looking forward to that opportunity.
The Company
6. It was fun at times and not fun at times. I think people here have a good blend of how to manage their time and when to have fun or not.
8. The work placement was very well organised by the HR team of the bank. In the assignment of mentors and buddies to the networking events. I think every single detail was well structured.
9. All the resources that could help in my personal development were put in place for my development. We had the my learning hub, BRC on Bloomberg, the trading game and many others.

8. Future employment prospects are high for the this organisation. Great talent exhibited will be rewarded with a job.
The Culture
5. There was an obvious competitive spirit among the placement students/colleagues. Although, we made time for drinks and other stuff away from the desk.
5. The cost of living was really high as compared to the country I came from. This effect was reduced after our first salary was paid.
5. I didn't experience any particularly vibrant night life in the area I worked. This might be because I wasn't necessarily looking out for it as well.
7. there were a lot of opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work as long as the individual had the interest. Access to most of these activities were online or information on these activities could be found online which made It easier to get involved.
