The Role
Very good company to work at but the work placement I was given was irrelevant to my career aspirations and did not make use of my skill set
The team I was in were very friendly and really made me feel part of the team
Very good line manager who gave me feedback on all the work I did.
The amount of work I had to do was well balanced except for when my line manager was away on holiday and I was able to complete the work given over the time quite quickly and there was nothing left really for me to do for last two days.
A good amount of responsibility and was given owenership of project and was heavily involved with other major projects.
I did not learn anything new in terms of skills etc from my placement
The Company
Great Atmosphere, everyones is happy to help and always got time for placement students.
I was put into a division I did not ask for and was clearly not suited to me if they had looked at my CV this would have been obvious.
No real investment in personal training and devlopment was given access to e-learning after I chased them.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
They do not place graduates in London, Graduate salary is nothing to shout about and opportunites to progress in future not great
The Culture
Guildford is not cheap some people stayed in student accomadation rangine from £100 non catered to £190 catered
Not too bad went out for drinks a few times some nice pubs and a couple clubs
No ther was not much to do other than what the interns organised themselves.
