The Role
Interesting job, giving me opportunities to develop soft skills and meet people.
Great manager, very efficient, he trusted me with more responsibilities than expected, which was great! Team members were okay, enthusiastic but they dragged me down a few times.
Little guidance, a lot of freedom. Yet the necessary was given to me. I had a training course at the beginning of the placement.
Good balance. Had a very busy week when my team mates went on holiday though.
My manager appreciated my initiatives to be the leader of my team.
Earned a lot of soft skills, and knowledge on organizational structures in a company.
The Company
Relaxed, no excessive pressure but it remained a working area. ARM has very good working environments.
Management turned over our project towards the end. Otherwise, generally well organized and planned.
Appropriate amount of training with a consultant in the team.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I got an offer.
The Culture
Good group. Unfortunately very masculine environment (engineering). But events were organized and I made some good friends.
Cambridge is quite expensive...
Good, but expensive.
I joined a basketball club organized by employees.
