The Role
It was ok, boring at times and not very relevant to my course.
I got on very well with my colleagues. They made me feel welcome and respected me.
I was given a fair amount of training at the start but after that was left alone for most of the internship. It was nice to have the responsibility but at times I did struggle.
At times, sometimes more than a week, I was very bored. My tasks were pretty menial and did not take too long to complete. Often I felt like I was a hassle when I asked for more work.
Average. I did have to organise a few meetings and contact lots of people but other than that, not a lot.
Not very much at all, I didn't really have to think too much and the tasks were not relevant to my course. However it was good to work in an office environment for a large company.
The Company
It was alright, the atmosphere was pretty positive and everyone made an effort to get on with me. We had a laugh most days and I was sat close to other interns which was cool.
Pretty badly; it took a while to get new jobs and at the end of the summer I didn't really feel that I had achieved much.
I was given all the necessary training to do my job but other than that not much.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Fairly good, I think I have a good chance on getting on the grad scheme.
The Culture
Was really good. We had fun in the office and had a fair few messy nights out.
Not too bad.
It was ok, we went into central london a few times because there were only a few bars around.
Not really, other than the socials with the other interns.
