About You
Really enjoyed my time at Savills, gave me a good insight into the client side of the property industry which I haven't been involved in before.
There were times when it was hard to find work off people as I am not trusted with some of the work which is understandable.
Every member I did work with were very helpful with any tasks they set me and would answer any questions I had.
As I don't actually have a property management module at university a lot was not too relevant but it did help me in terms of leases and the law behind property.
The Company
It was structured very well with me spending each of my 4 weeks with different members of the management team who all did different sectors such as leisure, office and out-of-town retail parks.
I had a really good time and everyone I met was extremely friendly and happy to help.
they helped me learn a lot and were very useful.
I got to see what goes on the office but obviously I was not delegated important tasks therefore I don't know the full extent to their work.
I learnt a lot about Savills and the way they work during my time here, which proves to me that they really do care for their clients and will almost anything to keep them happy and ensure they turn to them if they need any future work doing.
I've always had an interest in property and doing my internship has helped confirm I want to go down this career path.
Everything Else
there was a couple of times I went out with some of the team and met the valuation department on one occasion but overall didn't get to do as much networking as I thought I would.
A few, definitely could of been more.
they told me about an array of activities and sports that you can get involved with outside of work.
100%, if they're looking to get into the property business then Savills is definitely one of the best companies to come and get that experience at.
