The Role
I enjoyed it very much.
We talked mostly about professional topics.
My supervisors were field professionals and were giving me valuable advice all the time.
I had the freedom to choose how much time I spend in work and how hard I work.
I did not get much of the responsibility, meaning if I failed to deliver my tasks nothing would happen. However, the work I did was used in the production environment at the end.
I can clearly see that the skills I learned are important for the career in the industry.
The Company
Atmosphere in my office was comparable to other companies I visited.
There were only a minor hiccups.
Before the start of internship there were online materials about investment banking. They were beneficial. Other than that there was only unnecessary Excel training.
Flexi Time
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I feel indifferent to UBS.
The Culture
Yes, interns were organizing events like going for go-karting and similar.
This questions is weird. London is "expensive" but I could afford very decent living with cultural side from the salary I got.
I did not go to any clubs.
There were some volunteering opportunities.
