The Role
Work was very good and vqaried, colleagues tried their best to take me out of the office regularly on viewings etc. Very good.
Felt extremely values, with colleagues giving me more and more work with harder content as they placed more responsibility with me over the three week period.
Good guidance given, if i had any queries etc, ALL the employees in my team were willing to help.
A good balance, sometimes under pressure of good amounts, but rarely bored or too busy. If i was too busy i didn't realise, as i enjoyed the pressure and responsibility placed with me.
At the start, relatively little, which is understandable. But nearer the end, i was placed with more responsible jobs such as calling / talking to clients etc.
Helped me establish further time management / organisational skills as well as various specific skills and networking.
The Company
Great group of people. Times when it was slightly dull (If everyone was out of the office), but 99% of the time they made it very enjoyable, with good senses of humour alongside their great work ethic.
Seemed as if there was little REAL structure, and tasks were thrown this way randomly. However, i quite enoyed this as it made me feel part of the team, although little structure was apparent. However the team did plan to take me out of the office as often as possible, which they did, so that was well organised.
Was trained to use some specific programs, mainly by [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who unexpectedley gave me tasks etc in the first week, when nobody else was really allocating me jobs. However there was not much bredth beyond this in terms of personal training.
I think i pulled my weight. Was always early into the office and wasn't the first to leave in the evening. Strongly enjoyed my work placement and i hope that my presence made a small impact on affairs at C&W. Would love the opportunity for a job at this firm in the future.
The Culture
There was no felow placement colleagues........
Coming from a rural area, it shocked me to see the prices of everything in London, i guess this is to be expected, but i never really anticiated it.
Nightlife was fairly good, if a bit overpriced.
Not for me personally (particularly), but many for C&W employees which im sure that i would take advantage of if i worked here.
