The Role
You had a lot of freedom.
Your colleagues treated you as an equal as you were doing the eact same thing as them.
Lots of help everywhere you look, everyone is more than willing to give you help.
You have always got more to do but the targets are realistic.
We were equal to everyone else working there, we had a lot of responsibility.
Dealing with customers is a skill you will need nearly everywhere and keeping calm when the situation changes to something completely different to what your used to, this internshit teaches you how to control yourself.
The Company
Everyone is talkative and funny, and everyone gets their work done, the atmosphere is very positive as there are no people in the office that caused problems.
The training was not as good as it couldve been however they did tell us this was their first internship scheme. On the job training with a more experienced person was the most useful part. Other than the training the whole experience was very organised.
They could have had better resources to teach us however we did get trained by different people and each of those people did do lots to help our training. I feel the people wanted to invest more than the company did.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Although what you do could seem repeatitive it is very different and I would happily get a job with them in the future, if I had to remain there for more than say 5 years without a promotion (which is lacking at enterprise from what people say), I dont think I would.
The Culture
The office was ordered pizza at lunch and regularly go to the pub, I felt that there is strong friendships in the office and everyone is included.
Aldershot is cheap, but i would go out socalising in it.
Never went.
People were arranging weekend gigs and pub events etc. everyone was welcome and the whole office goes. Its great. In terms of outside of work but still working, you can go many different places to meet people that are very high up in enterprise, it was very interesting.
