The Role
I had a great time which I honestly did not expect. The atmosphere was very laid back and casual which contributed to the amount of work done.
I felt as a part of the team, received tasks from various people worked on real issues they had.
My manager was always there when I needed something, he checked up on me couple of times a day to see if I have any issues and potentially helped me resolve them.
I was kept quite busy always having at least a couple of tasks to switch between which also helped when I got stuck on one and needed some distance from it.
I was given almost as much responsibility as a regular employee in non-managing position.
They will definitely prove useful. While I've improved in a certain programming language, I've also picked up many professional practices and gained a better overview of the whole development process.
The Company
Whilst everyone was professional, the atmosphere was very laid back with people joking around at times.
From the organisational point of view there isn't much I could fault, they have a lot of experience running the program and you can tell. There was a large group of interns but we were always catered for.
From the very first day we've received all the training we could possibly need, even more.

Working from home
It is your goal as an intern to land a full time graduate position, the company knows that so if you perform well, the chances are very high.
The Culture
Aside from the official company organised events, the interns often organised something else in their own time.
