The Role
Learnt a lot about the banking industry and enjoyed the people i worked with
Fully integrated straight away and was taken out by desk.
Line manger always had his door open for advice and questions as did the rest of my team and all the senior management around.
Initially I was fairly busy, but my work wasn't really enough for 10 weeks so had to drag it out a bit.
Would have liked more daily line tasks as opposed to project based work
Improved presentation/networking skills significantly
The Company
Friendly and fun
Very well, many intern events and seminars
Several courses available to learn from as well as shadowing various other departments
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Strong Q2 results but like many other banks it is going through a round of job cuts/freezing
The Culture
Always up for going out on Friday which was good fun
Liverpool Street is a very expensive area, nothing you can do about it
Fun but very expensive
Community affairs projects available - Shoreditch Games
