The Role
Great internship programme with good opportunities to develop skills, meet senior people and contribute to the firm.
Varies from team to team but overall a positive experience where you feel like a valued member of the team
Support and guidance was great throughout
A good level of work given although in the run up to deadlines you were a lot busier
By definition of the role the responsibility could not be delegated however the tasks given were applicable and useful to the desks
Great insight into the financial industry and good specific technical knowledge of different products
The Company
Very market driven atmosphere that was fast paced and interesting to be part of.
Good rotation system plus alternative shadowing every week which enabled a good insight into many areas of the business. HR set up very good networking and technical learning sessions which really added to the experience.
There was a huge investment by the firm in the internship programme with a strong focus in making sure we learnt a lot and met as much of the business as possible.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym

The Culture
There was a large intern cohort with a good social scene
Fairly expensive
good
