The Role
Very much enjoyed the side project we were given. My main job was easy but tasks were quite menial.
I was respected and my colleagues had time for me when I needed it.
I pretty much got on with what I had to do. I didn't need much support and my manager was very busy.
Didn't feel overworked but wasn't too bored either.
Very little chance to demonstrate my true capablity.
A very valuable experience of what it is like to work as part of RBS GBM.
The Company
The office environment was very relaxed, fun and enjoyable.
At first the internship was very well organized especially the assessment centre. Towards the end it lacked organization and there was little information on the exiting procedures.
I was impressed with how much was invested in us.
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Brilliant, I was offered a role on the Graduate scheme.
The Culture
Social life was another good part of the internship.
Rent was expensive, as were drinks. However networking drinks were often provided by RBS.
As stated, I enjoyed the nightlife!
A few societies. I personally got involved in football.
