The Role
Enough of an insight into the bank for the whole experience to be interesting.
They included me in everything, although my work wasn't particularly important.
I was given plenty of support but could have received more guidance on expectations.
I rarely had enough work to fill the days.
I was monitoring two offshore staff.
The training was either irrelevant or too basic to be of any assistance.
The Company
People got on with jobs they enjoyed.
Well run centrally, although the activities were not always communicated to the line managers of the interns.
I didn't receive any training in my last month because I wasn't going to be there long enough to make it worthwhile in their view.
Company Parties/Events
I have accepted a job offer.
The Culture
We went out each Friday evening.
The city itself was very expensive but where I was living in Bethnal Green was OK.
As I expected.
More than I was aware of I think.
