The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would be very interested if the opportunity arose to work here in the future.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues and we all got on extremely well. I was given meaningful work which contributed to the company overall
I was given a good amount of support as they were there to help me when required but also left me to work things out for myself at the right times.
I was always busy. From the first day I was given plenty of work to do and my own project to see through for the duration of the internship.
I was given a lot of responsibility. I was working on products which would be used by people outside the company and on products which would be built on after I left.
The skills I have learned here will help me hugely both in the rest of my degree and life after university. I have developed integral skills for working in the computer science industry
The Company
The atmosphere was very positive and friendly. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and everyone got on well.
The internship was very well organised. I never found myself sitting waiting on things being done so I could start doing work as everything was so well planned.
I used technologies which I had not used before like Azure and C# and carried out PluralSight training videos to learn about these technologies. I received no real formal training but I never felt it was required.
Financial Bonus
I would be very happy to work here in the future,
The Culture
Yes, they have end of month drinks which many employees go along to and you can meet lots more people from the company there. My team also went out for lunch quite regularly which helped me get to know people.
I live and worked in Glasgow City Center so it is not the cheapest but could be a lot worse
The nightlife is fantastic around Glasgow especially in the city center where I am based,
There were a few but as I was only here for 10 weeks there were not many opportunities over the time I was here.
