The Role
Generally enjoyed my internship. The whole experience was quite relaxed. Loved the flexible working schedule!
My colleagues gave me real responsibilities and trusted that I have the ability to deliver.
All my colleagues are really supportive when I approached them for help.
I was not too busy but was kept occupied.
I was given tasks to do which has real impact on the business, e.g. third party contracts management and proceeding urgent supplier payment.
The personal skills I have learnt from my IT business management programme are invaluable to me.
The Company
Vibrant.
The overall organisation was good. The central Emerging Talent team has set a good schedule, from intern webinars to performance reviews.
Mandatory online training. Most development comes through hands-on experience or talking to colleagues. However, my colleagues are all really supportive in terms of any development initiatives I came up with.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Pretty good. Lloyds is a big organisation. You can experience a lot of different roles for the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Yes. But probably not as good as the ones in London
Absolutely brilliant! Much Cheaper than London or Cambridge. Your living cost might go up if you want to go shopping in London on weekends. The train tickets are expensive even after discounts applied.
I am not the kind of person who enjoys noisy nightlife. I'd say Leeds is fine by me.
Yeah depends on what you want.
