The Role
A fantastic experience. I would highly recommend the internship to all my university colleagues.
I was welcomed into the team with open arms and was given responsibility from very period during my placement.
I had an exceptional support base from the entire department and my supervisor was able to provide assistance whenever I ran into difficulty.
My manager and wider team ensured that a perfect work-life balance was struck throughout my internship.
For very early during my placement I felt I was given significant responsibility. I constantly felt I was adding value to the team and regularly saw tangible outcomes for my work.
The skills gained will aid me through my degree and provide an excellent platform for future job applications.
The Company
Positive and hardworking.
There were ample opportunities to attend additional workshops and volunteer at a variety of events alongside office based work.
I felt significant investment has been made to enhance the skills sets which will be valuable in our future careers.
Very appealing. I would certainly consider applying to CRUK once I have completed my degree.
The Culture
There were weekly opportunities to socialise with fellow interns,
It certainly placed a strain on a student budget
Weekly opportunities were advertised for activities outside work.
