The Role
Enjoyable workload where you work at your own pace with the tools you like.
Easy to make friends and conversations with colleagues even for short placements.
Manager is always close and available to answer any questions and always willing to help, yet doesn't sit over your head.
Given enough work, but with no deadlines such that work is done at your own pace.
Given access to everything like a permanent employee with similar tasks and setup,
Builds on knowledge from course but provides much further depth into the field, granting useful experience for the future.
The Company
Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Never felt stressed.
Relatively well organized though required some initiative on your side to get things going.
Was tutored on a personal basis whenever I had any questions by colleagues, having weekly meeting to track the progress and providing further guidance.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
Very good, company is more than happy to provide further employment in the future in the desired area.
The Culture
Yes, having many conversations with colleagues and going to pubs on a weekly basis.
Slightly lower than London prices, where transport was relatively cheap. Completely manageable.
You get the best of London nightlife.
Some fun opportunities though most of them were independently organized by employees.
