The Role
The 6 weeks were very enjoyable, I was not bored at any point and the type of work varied a lot.
I felt valued because the work I completed was actually used to complete the audits.
Every time I asked for help someone would stop what they were doing and explain to me in full what I needed to do.
There was always work to be done. If the workload in my project reduced at all, I was able to work on another project.
I was given a lot of responsibility from the very start, completing the same tasks as some of the full time employees.
I learnt how a number of businesses operate which I feel is invaluable information in whatever career I choose.
The Company
Very friendly indeed, everyone seemed to get along well. Everyone from 1st years to partners went on the office social event.
Very well organised, I was booked to a project every week and spent time both in and out of the office.
I received a lot of on the job training both by asking questions and shadowing employees.

Very appealing. Promotions seem to occur regularly, and can even happen early if you work hard enough.
The Culture
There were only three interns at this office so not really. We went on the office social event together and we went for meals and drinks with the full time employees. At the London office I know that there was a very good social scene among the placement students.
Cambridge is a very expensive place to live and socialise.
The Cambridge nightlife is ok, not as good as most big cities but much better than any small town.
Not really while on the internship but countless once you join full time.
