The Role
I have enjoyed my internship. I came into the unique role knowing next to nothing, but thanks to my team getting me involved in the delivery of rectifications I am leaving with a knowledge I didn't think was possible to acquire in the 10 weeks.
My team were great. They gave me genuine work to do and trusted in my ability to do it. They are all nice people who are really easy to get on with.
My line manager has been really helpful in putting me in contact with different people, explaining things to me and getting me involved in as much as I can.
Although initially it was hit and miss, towards the second half of my internship as my ability to carry out tasks improved so did my workload.
I was given a decent amount of responsibility during my internship, particularly in the latter half of it.
I believe my organizational skills have improved as well as my excel skills, which will contribute to my degree and beyond. My interpersonal skills have improved, which I feel will greatly help me beyond my university studies.
