The Role
I've thoroughly enjoyed my entire placement, the work has been very varied and challenging at times which really allowed me to develop and use skills I previously wouldn't have.
I found my team extremely welcoming and very easy to work with, I think this is echoed around the company and makes you feel particularly valued no matter your experience.
Excellent support for all questions and problems that I had, I couldn't have asked for more from my team and manager,
At times throughout the year ive been very busy but in the great scheme of things it has been a perfect balance. My manager would also always ask how my work load was and whether i was too busy and needed support which is nice to hear.
Early on I was surprised how much responsibility I was given and this continued throughout the year. It was great to be given the chance to really own certain projects and meetings and this was a huge confidence boost to be allowed to take control of these things. At a few events i would have liked to be given a bit more responsibility but on the whole very pleased.
The skills and training i received this year really are skills for life. It has been an incredible experience from start to finish. I'm sad to be leaving but fingers crossed i will be back!
The Company
It was a very good atmosphere to work in for the majority. Given the review that is taking place there is alot of uncertainty with people which has somewhat affected the atmosphere but on the whole, good.
Very well organised, clear structure of what my main tasks and responsibilities were. Also a very clear development programme to improve weaknesses called and IPC.
Anything that was needed for me to do my job i was trained on and anything that my team thought could be useful for me they suggested i took part in which included presentation training and insights profiling.

Very! To me Centrica is appealing to me as a future employer within the HSES Grad Programme. Fingers crossed we can make it happen! No job confirmed yet so i will rate as 9.
The Culture
There was 3 other YINI students based at the Windsor site and we socialised together regularly.
I lived with my aunt therefore had very low living costs, but from my knowledge of the local area I understand Windsor to be quite expensive but not quite London prices.
Nightlife wasn't a very big part of my placement but i have rated based off the few experiences i had in Windsor.
there was plenty to get involved with from Jiu Jitsu to 5 a side football.
