The Role
Had a wide range of work to carry out with plenty to do on a day to day basis on a very interesting platform
Was accepted into the team and felt like I was valued by all members of my team
Plenty of guidance was provided and all questions were answered within a moments notice
Some days were busier than others but it all depends on how much effort you want to put into your work or how fast you can work
There was some feeling of responsibility but I was not in a position of managing other people
I believe what I have learnt here will provided me with invaluable experience for the rest of my degree and my future career
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone gets along and there is a good social aspect
There were some hiccups in the first few weeks but these weren't major and didn't affect my day to day role. Other than that everything was alright
I don't believe my time here was long enough for any personal training to be invested in me. It is up to employee to get as much or as little out of the placement as they want
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
There is alot of resources invested into future employment routes for graduates and are very applealing and other great career opportunities
The Culture
Everyone was friendly and got along well and plenty of social activities were organised between other intern throughout the placement
It was a very cheap area to live in in comparison to other places in England
I didn't feel there was much nightlife that appealed to me in the local area. I visited most of the pubs and bars and didn't feel like the area I lived in could offer much more than that
There are loads of charity and volunteering opportunities for employees to take part in
