The Role
It was really good fun
I was treated as an equal by everyone
My manager was always there for me to ask whenever I needed help
At the beginning I was a little bored, but the work soon piled up. The more work I had to do the more enjoyable it was.
For my individual projects I was given a fair amount of responsibility. There was still the approval of my manager for any of my work preventing me from submitting something which was incorrect though.
The internship helped me find out what my flaws are and how to improve them, improving my skills all round
The Company
Everyone worked very hard but were willing to share jokes throughout the day.
Well organised
They invested a lot in improving my ability to do my job. I was amazed at how analytical they were of me and how they were able to identify my strengths and weaknesses.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I am going to the assessment centre and may or may not be offered a job after this.
The Culture
I didn't stay in halls, but those who did went out almost every weekend. I joined them on occasion and always had a good time.
Not bad. Aberdeen is not the cheapest to live in, but bars and clubs did not charge too much - and I lived next to an ASDA!
Decent - not the best I've experienced, but vibrant enough.
I got involved a lot in 5 a side and 7 a side football which was great fun.
