The Role
Loved the placement - dying to get a job at BP now!
Everyone was really friendly and the work was valuable.
Mentoring system was incredibly useful and management feedback system well structured.
Brief was well specified and project took up the full length of my time here.
Project was real work with real applications, and the results will be used in the future.
Decided that this is the career for me!
The Company
Friendly, but everyone was hard working so the atmosphere was relatively quiet.
Well established and structured internship and graduate scheme. Felt well looked after.
A lot of training time invested both within the team and within the company.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Would love a job with BP - assessment centre is next week so fingers crossed!
The Culture
Socialising most weekends, eating lunch together etc. Have made some great frineds.
West London generally expensive but BP subsidised London living costs to an extent.
Great nightlife but very expensive. Lied in Imperial accommodation in S Ken so area was very safe (even during riots!) but you have to choose clubs etc well to get good drinks deals.
Plenty of sports and social activites both with other interns and company organised.
