The Role
I'd say 85%. There were always a lot to be done - partly because I always asked for work. Also, my team was always on hand to help.
Very valued actually. There were lots of responsibilities handed over to me and my work was really appreciated by the team.
Most of the time. All I had to do was ask.
Very busy (I do understand that my experience is very different to my other colleagues I have spoke to). I guess it depends on you, your team and what needs to be done. I was in a very client facing role.
Lots of responsibilities. Aside my normal tasks, I worked on almost 10 other projects - again, my experience here is very unique due to my role, team, personality and my line manager.
In the general scheme of things - I feel my skills developed will be more useful at the work place than on my degree. Mainly because most of them are technical skills but the soft skills such as presentation, multitasking, working under pressure, teamplaying, etc will be applicable anywhere.
The Company
Very relaxed. very very relaxed. Much better than I anticipated despite the busy nature of my work.
Again, there were others in my scheme (different teams) who had a different (not negative) reaction to mine. From the bank's perspective - it was decently organsised. I'd say 70% but due to the line manager's efforts it shoots up to 88%.
They did what they were supposed to do I think. Nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Very. Although - witnessing redundancy 'face on' skews my decision slightly to the left. Also, a few internal processes do not work quite as well as I had hoped. But still a positive feeling overall because of the firm's reputation.
The Culture
Social scene was very good - then again I was an intern so its to be expected I think.
This is quite subjective - I worked in The City (of London).
N/A - I went home after work.
Perhaps - but didnt really look into them
