    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Line manager was alwyas on hand to help. Felt like i was top rpiority even though I probably wasn't.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Quite often had no work to do. You can usually see to that by asking for work but found myself bored on occaision. When I did have work it was relatively important and would be used by the business.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • All of the work was supervised and work which was completed to be included in business documents would all be checked first but it was useful work, not just making the coffee!

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Invaluable experience to work in this organisation and with these people.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone is hard at work but still has time for a chat. Occaisional team social events.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • A little confusion at time but in my experience it couldn't have gone much better. Perhaps a little more communication at the start to help you understand what you will be doing and organisational help if you are moving to a new location.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • At the start of the internship you and your line manager discuss your objectives set by the business then talk about any personal developments you feel are worthwhile working on. Throughout the ten weeks you are encouraged to partake in activities to reach these personal objectives. We met with a regional director, who has a very busy schedule, as she was very skilled in a personal development area that I had set, fo a masterclass on this area. People take time to help you and they want to see you do well.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    National Travel

    Company Parties/Events

    Healthcare/Dental

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Definatley a company I would work with. Comparitively high graduate job offer rates for interns.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The company seem to hire like minded and good people so most people got on well and spent a lot of time with eachother, going out at weekends etc.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • 3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Great choice of bars and clubs in a relatively small area.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes, we were advised of different committees before the internship that range from sport to... other things that I cant remember. But there was always opportunities to get involved in things and throughout the 10 weeks there were 3 social events run by RBS that allowed you to take part in fun activities and socialise and network more.

    4/5
