The Role
Had a great summer placement, well structured and enjoyable
Very valued, given responsibility and projects early on which had a real impact on the business.
Strong support network from Graduate Team adn Line Manager
Good mixture of being busy with deadlines, and having quieter periods where I could take the oppotunity to explore more about the business.
Enough responisibilty to be challenged, without so much that I was overwhlemed.
Developed great business skills for later life, as well as work and ICT skills which will serve me well in my degree.
The Company
Work focussed within my Team
A lot of time and effort was spent making our placement Constructive and Enjoyable.
Training and development oppotunities were presented, and it was easy to arrange others yourself
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Good Organisation though the sheer size of it can be off-putting, as can be the paralysis of progres due to the Gulf of Mexico Incident.
The Culture
Good social scene based around London, although everyone was very spread out where they lived and so it was difficult to arrange big nights out.
Reasonable, edge of London so cheap, but for anything good you have to go into Central London.
Pub practially on site was only local nightlife.
Good scene of extra activities at Work and particularly for Interns
