The Role
The whole insight into the audit process was amazing. Meeting new people from all walks of life was also a plus point.
Being an intern with zero prior knowledge, it was pretty hard to be entrusted with certain tasks at the beginning. However, towards the end of the internship, I was being given bigger and more important tasks which was great.
The support was amazing. I came with a million questions and I am glad they were all answered.
I was kept relatively busy. I was given tasks to complete daily. However, with summer being the less busy season, there were times when I was left with no work.
Like I said above, being an intern with zero prior knowledge, it was pretty hard to be entrusted with certain tasks at the beginning. However, towards the end of the internship, I was being given bigger and more important tasks which was great.
Gained loads of social skills and definitely sharpened my excel & powerpoint skills.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and relaxed, there was good banter as well.
With summer being the not so busy season, there was one week where I was unbooked. HR was very helpful though throughout the entire process.
When I was unbooked, I explored the training that was available online. I was amazed by the amount of training available with different levels of depth which was pretty good.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Good.
The Culture
With the placement being in London, there definitely was.
Expensive.
Great but expensive.
There was a CSR day which was fun.
