The Role
Long hours and hard work but thoroughly enjoyed it and liked being given responsibilities.
Very close team, only could be improved by more interaction between office and site workers.
Always had someone to ask for help however the pressure was piled on at certain points and I was left a little stretched to get all the jobs done.
I don't like not being busy and this was never a problem on my placement. Only problem was a couple of days with other engineers off I was too busy and couldn't get it all done.
I felt like a fully fledged engineer and loved the responsibilities I was given.
Definitely helped me see the application of my degree and also what the workplace environment is like and improved my team work.
The Company
Great bunch just everyone was a bit exhausted half the time.
Perfect however could have done with a little work/reading to do before starting.
Being my 3rd placement we could have spent a bit more time focusing on gaining different skills instead of improving on previous years skills.
Great company, would be interested with working with them and have been offered a place on the grad scheme.
The Culture
Could have done with more out of hours bonding, maybe organise a company run football team etc
Oxford is as expensive as London.
Average at best
Only one guys leaving drinks
