The Role
I really enjoyed my project very much and am sad to have to leave now.
All my team was very supportive and friendly during the whole internship. On my last day they wrote me a very nice goodbye card and bought me a gift. They gave me the feeling to be a valued member of team.
I got support whenever I asked for it. They let me work quite independently but were always willing to answer questions and provide feedback. So it was a very good balance.
I had enough work and was never bored. But it was also not too much, just the right balance.
I was responsible for my project on my own. I could completely decide independently how I want to solve it and what the next steps are.
I improved my technical knowledge as well as my language skills so I guess it will help a lot.
The Company
Everybody was very friendly and open-minded. It was very easy to get in touch with people.
Most of the events were pretty well organised. Sometimes I could have been helpful to provide more information in advance of the internship (e.g. how to open a bank account,...)
There were many lunch and learns which are also about a lot of topics which have nothing to do with the daily work. However it was quite nice to learn more about those things.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Very good, I really liked the company culture as well as the technical challenges.
The Culture
Definitly! I met a lot of them for lunch or doing sports together.
I was quite expensive to get some drinks after work.
There are not a lot of clubs around the area. However there are many bars and restaurants about 20 min walk away.
There are many sport clubs and also things like board game club.
