The Role
I absolutely loved it, it's an incredible internship, and even if you're not interested in business journalism necessarily, it's excellent to get experience in the newsroom.
You're treated almost as an equal, but often receive just enough support and then are left to go off and do your own thing.
A great deal, but occasionally they are too busy.
It varied. Depending on the day, anywhere from absolutely slammed to kind of bored. Generally verging on busier days.
A great deal.
I haven't started yet, but I can only assume that the training you receive in this is instrumental in the rest of your life.
The Company
Amazing. It's extremely open and helpful, you can ask virtually anyone for help and they'll step up.
Extremely well organized.
An incredible amount of time and investment goes into the interns at Bloomberg.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Extremely appealing, Bloomberg is one of the few companies offering such amazing opportunities, particularly in journalism.
The Culture
Yes, many drinks were had.
Extremely expensive, but that's just a function of London.
Good, but I didn't really take advantage.
A few, but the day can get quite busy.
