The Role
I really enjoyed my time on the project. I was given so many responsibilities and felt part of the team from early on. There were any challenges along the way, but I feel they helped me grow and I have come away with a weath of experience and friends.
All my colleagues respected me, gave me responsibilities and supported me through my year. I have made so many friends this year and they even gave me a farewell present and party when I left.
I felt supported throughout my year, and comfortable asking any questions I had. I was given a mentor along with supervisor and line managers overseeing me, so I had a wealth of experience to support me.
Very busy, especially towards my final few months. Due to various people leaving, I took over lots of responsibilities but I feel these were so helpful in growing my confidence and ability. It was a challenge, but one I thrived on.
So much responsibility. I was doing almost a section engineer role towards the end, but I loved the challenge and motivation of it. I have been involved with so much this year - I couldn't have asked for more!
I am yet to start my degree again after finishing placement, but I am sure it will be so beneficial when I start in a few weeks.
The Company
It was a Good atmosphere, people were friendly and helpful. I have made so many friends this year and knew everyone in the office well by the end.
It was organised well. I knew who was supervising me, who I could speak to etc. My line manager reviewed my competencies regularly and checked I was ok.
I felt very invested in this year. I attended various events to represent the company, and they put me on lots of training courses for my own personal development.

The company have said, provided I achieve my degree, I will go onto their graduate scheme. I would love to work for them in the future.
The Culture
Yes very much so. People often socialised at the pub and there were often socials or events to get involved in.I have made so many friends during my time there.
I was working in London, so fairly expensive. The company did subsidise my living though, which made it affordable for me. I was very grateful for this.
It was good. People went out most Fridays so anyone was welcome to join if they wanted.
There were very sporting activities that you could be involved in- running, boxing, football. We also met up at Christmas for socials and girly catch up often.
