The Role
Two of the best choices I have made whilst at university: 1. Deciding to do a placement year 2. Choosing KPMG
Brilliant team.
Great learning environment.
Workload varies throughout the year.
The greater competence you show, the more responsbility you gain.
Work ethic and time management has developed significantly.
The Company
Great when the team were in the office, however due to the nature of the work being client based, a lot your time may be spent out of the office.
You are treated the same as a first year graduate, however the leaving process needs work - I had little to no guidance.
A tremendous amount.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I will be returning as a second year graduate.
The Culture
Placement students were spread out across the country, so didn't interact much other than on training.
Leeds wasn't bad, although I haven't got much to compare to.
Great.
I didn't actively look.
