The Role
The work was challenging and interesting. KPMG staff arranged many peripheral activities and socials for the interns, which allowed us to gain a lot of exposure to the company.
I was given a comfortable work load that I knew would be an important contribution to deliverables.
I cannot flaw the support and guidance I was given by my graduate mentor.
I was comfortably busy, such that I would occasionally be required to stay late. It was a good balance that gave me an idea of graduate life at the company.
I was carrying out high level analysis and helping prepare documents for key stakeholders on the project, and attending meetings one tier down from executive committee.
Lessons in effective project management and identifying business opportunities were key.
The Company
There was a good balance between doing good work with the team and attending socials or other networking events.
Excellently set up. I've done a few internships and KPMG definitely provided the most complete experience.
Regular training sessions, socials, meetings with project managers to tell us about their work etc
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Got a graduate position :)
The Culture
Yes and it was great hearing about other interns' experiences.
London not cheap.
London great for nightlife.
We even had a corporate awareness day where we helped a charity develop a business strategy to employ homeless and vulnerable youths.
