  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was challenging and interesting. KPMG staff arranged many peripheral activities and socials for the interns, which allowed us to gain a lot of exposure to the company.

  • I was given a comfortable work load that I knew would be an important contribution to deliverables.

  • I cannot flaw the support and guidance I was given by my graduate mentor.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was comfortably busy, such that I would occasionally be required to stay late. It was a good balance that gave me an idea of graduate life at the company.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was carrying out high level analysis and helping prepare documents for key stakeholders on the project, and attending meetings one tier down from executive committee.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Lessons in effective project management and identifying business opportunities were key.

  • There was a good balance between doing good work with the team and attending socials or other networking events.

  • Excellently set up. I've done a few internships and KPMG definitely provided the most complete experience.

  • Regular training sessions, socials, meetings with project managers to tell us about their work etc

  • Yes and it was great hearing about other interns' experiences.

  • London not cheap.

  • London great for nightlife.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • We even had a corporate awareness day where we helped a charity develop a business strategy to employ homeless and vulnerable youths.
